ABOUT ME

I have been growing my practice of meditation & healing art since I had my first CranioSacral session in 2010. The therapist gently placed her hands on me- within seconds tears filled my eyes as my body opened to the invitation of meeting myself deeper. There was an immediate wave of recognition- awe that it was possible to touch someone and help them feel their body as a vessel of Spirit residence.

I recognized what I felt from when I was in my deepest prayer state. A couple years prior I was experiencing Spiritual Awakening as a 19 year old living in Mexico serving children at an orphanage. Upon leaving my life in Mexico, I suppressed the ecstatic Spirit that gave me vision until that moment I reconnected on a massage table. I know I am created to connect people to the One that lives inside.

In 2011, I attended a Vipassana style meditation in North Fork, Ca where I took a 10 day vow of silence and became enthralled at the possibility of internal observation to move through suffering. It was summertime as I was making the decision to move to Stockton, Ca to attend a massage school called Body Tune Up School of Massage. My teacher Michael Eakin was incredibly gifted in tuning into someone’s body- whether they were in the same room or on the other side of the country- and being able to access healing energy to bring about incredible results.

He instructed me in the style of Tuina, Medical QiGong, Intuitive Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and attuned me level three Reiki practitioner. As a student in massage school, I was fortunate to go on an excursion to China to practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong with masters of the art. I caught a glimpse of what is possible in the process of cultivating chi- what a rigorous art form! As I was learning the body, my teacher brought me to a better understanding of consciousness at the Monroe Institute in Faber, Virginia where I attended the Gateway Voyage program.

Additional training in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute furthered my listening skills with the subtle body. This osteopathic style modality is what originally got me into practicing touch therapy for its benefits in integrating the emotions with the awareness of fascia- connective tissue. I grew in learning to observe how our posture informs our perspective in life. I experienced how our bodies hold memories and we can gently access/release them with a trusted therapist. I have been instructed to the level of working with children and energetic family connection as well.

In 2017, I moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand to attend a 390 hour program learning the ancient art of Thai Massage. Within this training I learned the technique proficiently while also learning how to teach Thai Massage in a group setting. This program offered me the pleasure of being able to study a cadaver at the University for the first time ever! One of the best days of my life.

As our global pandemic occurred in 2020, I set aside the art of touch as I had been practicing so I could delve into the art of distance healing. I participated in an 8 week course that gave me the opportunity to work with energy practitioners & healers from all around the world. I felt as though this brought about the application of meditation and how it directly alters the energetic structure that occurs in&around the body. As I was taking a sabbatical from using the sense of my hands, I increased my sensitivity to how words intuitively engage the physical body and energetic field we function within. Our words are powerful when combined with awareness of sensation.
